Owning a piece of our generations history , it’s not buying a surplus item and letting it sit around , these pieces are hand made and chosen to be put into an amazing item , for show or use . Each piece hand made and very limited at that , and mr half face blades himself gave a lot to get where he is now . When it was announced that a run of hats and field notes covers were being done with Andy’s uniform I was thinking of just getting a hat since I’m a big fan of Half Face Blades. I decided to get the field notes cover on a whim and am so glad I did! The quality is outstanding and it’s even better that it not only supports a veteran owned company but has a piece of military history sewn in.
